OUR VISION

MY PHILOSOPHY

Family is my focus no matter what the family looks like.

My background in healthcare gives me the ability to balance the emotional family components while strongly advocating for their needs. My career in public-school administration gives me the unique ability to see issues from both sides. I am acutely aware of the barriers that families with special needs face in education, accessing the community, healthcare, and long-term planning.

Families look different across our state. Whether the structure of the family is changing or the rights of a family member are being challenged, I am here for them. My clients rely upon me to be their “voice” through all walks of life.

You cannot plan for every hurdle that life throws at you.

Planning is practical. Planning is rational. Planning is useful. Life decisions are easier when you work with an attorney to develop a plan together. I am a strong advocate for my clients’ personal and professional interests and will help you develop a plan and ease the burden of big decisions.

You get a lot further in life by saying it with a smile.

A Superintendent once asked me if I was going to be able to give parents and teachers tough messages. My response: “Of course, I can.” I am a straightforward attorney who will give you honest direction and feedback. I am known for my ability to respond, even in a difficult situation, with a smile. But don’t let that smile fool you, I provide aggressive representation while maintaining professional decorum.

WHO AM I?

graduation.jpg

I graduated from Arkansas State University and The University of Memphis and am nationally certified to provide speech-language pathology services. I furthered my education with certification as an Administrator of Special Education. My passion to serve others led me to law school at William H. Bowen School of Law, at University of Arkansas in Little Rock. I served as a law clerk supporting and training school districts across the state of Arkansas. In 2023, I opened Work Law Firm, PLLC where I am a general practice attorney. I have a special love for representing families through all stages of life.

When I’m not working, I enjoy being with my kiddos and husband of nearly 25 years, reading murder mysteries, playing with my “law dogs”, painting, and traveling (or dreaming about traveling!).
